The Lancaster City & County Medical Society is pleased to announce that Kelly Schober will serve as its executive director. Schober has an extensive background in constituent relations and non-profit management. She most recently served as executive director of advancement for Lancaster Theological Seminary and has worked in the not-for-profit sector for 13 years in a variety of settings, including the Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board and the Lancaster County Conservancy. “The Lancaster City & County Medical Society is a trusted voice on issues that affect the public health. I’m pleased to play an active role in strengthening its programs and its impact in Lancaster County,” said Schober. “My immediate goal as executive director is to bring value to both LCCMS members and the public by enhancing community awareness of the organization and what it does.”
LCCMS President Dr. Christopher Hager said, “We’re delighted to have Kelly on board. Her background working with mission-driven organizations in Lancaster County will be an asset as we provide the best service and advocacy for the physicians we represent and the patients we have the privilege to serve.”
