Lighten Up Lancaster County Announces Free Worksite Wellness Resources

Details of how the Health Care Reform legislation will impact worksites continue to unfold. For many employers there has been confusion on the new requirements for breastfeeding in the workplace. Workplace Support for Breastfeeding Moms is now available offering insights on the legislation as well as practical tools.

LCCMS works closely with the Lighten Up Lancaster Coalition to promote healthy weight management in our community. There is a new online tracking tool that can be used by workplaces free of charge.  You can join as an individual or a team at the Lancaster On the Move Website. Also on the site, there is a PDF version of the Lancaster on the Move flyer. Hard copies are available through the LG Health Corporate Wellness Office.

A new tool is available on the Lighten Up website that encourages employees to connect the dots for a healthy lifestyle.  This tool can be used at any time - whenever your Wellness Team needs a monthly activity for employees. You can customize the document with your logo and make it your own!
